Winter 2025 Season Info

Tryouts will be held 

Wednesday, November 12th 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm - NMS Gym

Friday , November 14th from 3:15 pm - 5:00 pm - NMS Gym

In the event a large number of players trying out additional days may be added.

Players should be dressed in shorts, t-shirts (with a number if possible)  and basketball sneakers and have water.

In order to be eligible to tryout, ALL players must:

1. Have a physical on file with the school nurse PRIOR to Friday November 7th 

   • Physicals are valid for 13 months from the date of the exam.  Doctors may fax the physical to the school nurse, or it can be dropped off before November 7th.  DO NOT bring the physical with you to tryouts – the coaches cannot take it, it MUST go to the school nurse.

1. Be registered on FamilyID.com prior to November 7th.  

   • Be sure to register for MIDDLE SCHOOL BASKETBALL and fill out all emergency contact information.  You do not need to pay the user fee until after you know if you have made the team.

Registration for MS athletics is now open: https://students.arbitersports.com/norton-high-school-and-norton-middle-school 

Any player not registered on FamilyID or without a valid physical on file with the school nurse WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO TRYOUT.  

There can be no exceptions to this rule.
