Arrival & Departure Snow and Safety

Just a quick reminder as we continue to deal with snowbanks around campus: space is tighter and visibility is more limited in the NMS parking lot. Please drive and use extra caution when driving on campus.

We know dismissal can feel slow at times, and some frustration is understandable. While the parking lot layout has its challenges and we are looking at ways to improve it within the current space, when it comes to dismissal, safety has to come before speed. There are a lot of students moving around at dismissal heading to cars. Please take your time, be patient with one another, and assume a student could be nearby at any moment. Some of the snow banks are taller than the kids and me too. 

Everyone who comes onto campus plays a role in keeping our students safe. The most important safety feature in the parking lot is the person behind the wheel.
