Best Day Ever May 8th

BEST DAY EVER
Wednesday May 8, 2024 

We are watching the forecast and have a rain date set for May 22.
 A follow up email will be sent if a reschedule is needed. 

For now here is some important information 

*** The event will take place on the NMS front lawn***
When dropping off and picking up please be careful and drive slowly. The large inflatables could create a driving distraction and pull your focus from the road. 

  • Bring Water: This is a fun and somewhat active outdoor event with inflatable obstacles and challenges along with music and dancing.  
  • An extra pair of socks: No shoes or sneakers are allowed on the inflatables. Students should anticipate 1 pair of socks getting dirty and maybe needing a change. 
  • Sunscreen: Apply at home and bring some if you are worried about over exposure. Each grade level will have about 90 minutes outside participating in the event.

Students are not required to go on any of the inflatables. If there is a reason that you do not want your child to participate please contact me through my email. There are other fun activities like music and dancing that will be taking place for all to enjoy.  vincenthayward@norton.k12.ma.us  

* Any student that sent the 10 emails and received Golden Ticket prizes will also get a free Kona Ice.

**Students that did not participate by sending the 10 emails can purchase a Kona Ice for $3.50

***Students that reached fundraising dollar amount goals will receive their prizes on this day

Unfortunately the forecast does not look good for Wednesday so we will be moving the Best Day Ever to May 22. The inflatables require that students wear only socks so a wet day would be very uncomfortable. Let's all start hoping for dry weather on the 22nd
